NIKON D70 DSLR Images
These images show what can be done using a DSLR. This has been an excellent learning experience without the investment in a cooled CCD camera. DSLRs are often considered suitable only for wide field views, but I think these show that they can be a cost effective way into Deep Sky imaging.
ATIK 314L Images
After serving my apprenticeship using a DSLR, I finally took the plunge and bought an Atik 314L cooled CCD camera. These are my first attempts. Both were taken with narrow band filters to produce these false colour images. I think the money was well spent!
